ohn Jones was born in Vanceboro, NC to very kind parents. On April fool’s day in 1969, he was drafted into the US Army. At a young age, he believed people could become successful if only they believed in themselves and worked hard for success. He retired from active service on May 3, 1989, as a sergeant first class (SFC) promotable with 20 years of honorable and loyal service. He served at Fort Gordon, Ga, Patrick Air Force Base, Fl, Fort Huachuca Az, Okinawa, Korea, and Fort Bragg.

He holds an Associate in Arts degree from Los Angeles Metropolitan College in General Studies; a Bachelors of Science Degree in Psychology from Fayetteville State University Fayetteville, NC; a Masters of Arts Degree in Human Resources Development Webster University Fort Bragg; is a graduate from the Basic Leadership Course, Korea; graduate from the Noncommissioned Officers Academy, Korea; graduate from the Advanced Noncommissioned Officers Course, Fort Benjamin Harrison; graduate from the Defense Equal Opportunity Management Institute, Patrick Air Force Base; graduate from the 72E Communication Center Specialist Course, Fort Gordon.

As a professional DJ, he has 32 years of experience, both in the states and overseas. He taught a professional DJ course at Fayetteville Technical Community College.

Today the author has written thirteen books.

Twelve of his books have a focus on helping people to understand that they possess the talent to become a success. His other book addresses how to start a mobile DJ business fast. The author is currently working on other books related to success and the professional DJ business.

He is the CEO of a successful wedding related web site.
